Auto Wake up and do tasks in windows XP

Perform Scheduled tasks  automatically wake up your computer.



By creating a scheduled task you can run a program in computer automatically.Sometimes you need to perform a task after X hours then what will you do ?? By creating a scheduled task you can do the task at right time.Some softwares like MFS will do this job.But operating it is not easy so you can use this way to do the task at right time without any extra softwares.



Goto Control panel then select "Performance and Maintenance".

In the next window select scheduled tasks.

Double click on "Add Scheduled Task".

A wizard will appear to assist you. Click on Next .
Select the application you want to run.And click on next.Select how often you want to run the program.Select the time and date you want that task to start.
Click next and enter your computer's password.Click on finish.

You can see the shortcut of the task in the window select its properties.Click on settings tab.And tick on "Wake the computer to run this task".

Then keep the system in Stand by mode.Windows will do the job at right time.
